I got some AG money for my birthday and am seriously considering this piece of furniture. Does any one have a review they could pass along for this? Is it hard wood or painted particle board. Also, when assembling, could I leave the towel bar off? Thank-you for all reviews and comments .

I have the commode and really enjoy it. Yes, you can leave the rack off, it is held on by two screws that attach in the back. It is beautiful. Also, the one I have is all wood, bought frome bay but an authentic AG commode. We use it and enjoy it a lot. It is very nice.

Thank-you, thank-you! Would there be holes where the towel bar should be? Does anyone else have a review?

I like this piece a lot. It is well-made and pretty. It can store a surprising amount of items. If you are not using it as a bedside table, you can use it as a dining room sideboard for Sam's Lemonade Set. It looks cute beside the wicker table set.

I like this item too. Some items from AG ALWAYS look bigger when you bring them home but this one seems to fit in well. It looks nice next to the rest of Samantha's furniture. The only thing about it is there is no way you can fit all of Samantha's dresses, accessories, ect in it. I still find it a worthwhile piece (I keep all ther other stuff elsewhere). Let us know what you ultimately decide!

My niece got it for Christmas this past year and it's still downstairs with the rest of her Samantha stuff that she plays with when she visits "Grammy." I think it's really nice. It's made of fairly heavy wood with a working drawer and a good amount of space underneath. The towel bar can be left off, and the holes aren't terribly noticeable, especially since they're on the back of the piece.
